AGS is uniquely positioned among geopolitical advisory and government relations firms. It is one of a handful of such firms lead by a former Cabinet-level principal in the U.S. Government and is one of only two such firms to have multiple former principals in directly available to clients. Further, AGS is the only geopolitical advisory firm of its type aligned with the current U.S. administration. Founded by former U.S. National Security Advisor Robert C. O’Brien and former National Security Council Chief of Staff Alexander Gray, our executive team is comprised of vice-chairmen who served as President of the World Bank (David Malpass); Prime Minister of Australia (Scott Morrison); Director of the White House National Economic Council (Larry Kudlow); and Acting Secretary of Homeland Security (Chad Wolf). Among our Senior Vice Presidents are three former Senior Directors at the NSC; a former Assistant Secretary of Commerce; and an acting Assistant U.S. Trade Representative. Our staff is also comprised of professionals who have held key position at the White House, State Department, Department of Energy, Department of the Treasury, Department of Commerce, the Pentagon, Office of the United States Trade Representative and on Capitol Hill. Internationally, the AGS team has expertise from the leaders of America's most respected allies and partners, including the former intelligence chiefs of Australia and Japan, both of whom are senior advisors to the firm.
