Lo-Mari O’Brien

Lo-Mari O’Brien advises American Global Strategies on special events and overseas operations.
Lo-Mari began her career in marketing and product development for a collectibles company and a toy company in California. Her roles involved significant interaction with the companies’ manufacturers and suppliers in Asia. She later focused on raising her children and volunteering in schools in her community as an art docent and within her family’s church community.
In May 2024, Lo-Mari and AGS Chairman Robert C. O’Brien announced the establishment of the annual Robert & Lo-Mari O’Brien Scholarship at Brigham Young University. The scholarship supports one student each year in attending BYU’s Jerusalem Center.
Lo-Mari has lived in Europe and traveled extensively throughout Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. While living in Washington, D.C., she was a member of Washington’s International Club No. 1.
Lo-Mari holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and communications from the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, South Africa. She speaks English, Afrikaans, and French and has participated in archaeological digs in Cyprus.
