Rob Pierce

Vice President

Rob Pierce is a Vice President at American Global Strategies, where he supports the firm’s Defense, Intelligence & National Security, Technology Policy & Artificial Intelligence Practice Groups and advises clients on national security, defense, intelligence, geopolitical risk, and strategic competition issues. He works with clients to assess defense and intelligence priorities, navigate emerging geopolitical and technology risks, and understand the evolving strategic landscape in the Indo-Pacific and beyond.

Rob served seven years on active duty as a U.S. Navy Intelligence Officer and continues to serve in the Navy Reserves. During his time on active duty, he served with SEAL Team THREE and the Defense Intelligence Agency.

Prior to joining the military, Rob worked on Capitol Hill for U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-OH).

He is a national security affairs fellow at the American Foreign Policy Council and a Term Member with the Council on Foreign Relations.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Rob earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Wake Forest University and a Master of Arts in Security Studies, with distinction, from Georgetown University.
