Sean Patrick Calabria

Vice President and Director of Research

Sean Patrick Calabria is a Vice President and Director of Research at American Global Strategies, where he leads the firm’s research function and drives the development of written products for clients and firm leadership. He advises on geopolitical, national security, political, and public policy issues affecting clients across a range of sectors, producing policy reports, geopolitical updates, political forecasting, client briefings, op-eds, business proposals, and other strategic materials.

Prior to joining American Global Strategies, Sean worked at a political research firm in Arlington, Virginia, for more than four years. In this role, he conducted open-source policy research, authored in-depth reports, and collaborated with internal and external stakeholders on a variety of political and policy matters.

Earlier in his career, Sean completed an internship program with the Institute for National Strategic Studies at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C., where he assisted senior fellows with research and publications related to NATO readiness and collective defense in Europe.

Sean is a participant in the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies 2026 National Security Fellows Program and was a Security and Strategy Seminar Fellow on the U.S. – China Strategic Competition with the Alexander Hamilton Society in 2024.

Sean received his Master of Arts in International Security from the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University in 2023. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Politics from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. in 2018.
