This information is not designed to provide advice or create a client relationship. You should not take, or refrain from taking, action based on its content. Prior results and case studies do not guarantee a similar outcome in future representation. AGS accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage that may result from accessing or reliance on content on the Website and disclaims, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any and all liability with respect to acts or omissions made by clients or readers on the basis of content on the Website. Images of people may feature current or former personnel not connected with AGS.

Except for your use as authorized above, you may not modify, reproduce, or distribute the content, design, or layout of the Website, or any section or portion thereof, or individual sections of the content, design or layout, of the Website, without a written agreement between you and AGS authorizing you to do so.
  3. Notice and Procedures for Claims of Infringement.

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please provide the following information in a Notice to AGS:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property that is allegedly infringed;
  • A description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you believe has been infringed;
  • A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on the Website;
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  • Both of the following statements:
    • “I have a good-faith belief that the use of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property described above as allegedly infringing is not authorized by the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property, its agent, or the law.” and
    • “I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this Notice is accurate and that I am the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property, or am authorized to act on its behalf.”

You must sign the notice and email it to an AGS copyright agent at AGS@AmericanGlobalStrategies.com, with “Website Infringement” in the subject line.

AGS may, in its sole discretion, disable and/or terminate use of the Website by users who infringe the intellectual property of others.

  1. Privacy Policy.By agreeing to these Terms of Use, you acknowledge that AGS may collect, use, and disclose your information to the fullest extent allowed under applicable law.
  2. Enforceability.

These Terms of Use constitute a contract between you and AGS governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, with the exception of its conflicts of laws provisions. In the event any of the terms or provisions of these Terms of Use shall be held to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining terms and provisions shall be unimpaired and the illegal, invalid, or unenforceable term or provision shall be replaced by such enforceable term or provision that comes closest to the intention underlying the illegal, invalid, or unenforceable term or provision. These Terms of Use set forth the entire understanding and agreement between you and AGS with respect to the subject matter hereof, and shall be subject to any other agreements you may have entered into with AGS.

The Website is hosted in the United States. If you are accessing this Site from outside the United States, you may be subjecting yourself to United States law, which may differ from your local laws, including laws that govern personal data collection, use, and disclosure. In your use of the Website, you may transfer certain personal information to the United States. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, your use of the Website shall constitute your consent to the transfer of personal information to the United States and the applicability of United States law.

AGS’s failure to act with respect to any failure by you or others to comply with these Terms of Use does not waive AGS’s right to act with respect to subsequent or similar failures. Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to this Agreement or the Website must be commenced within three (3) months after the claim or cause of action arises or such claim or cause of action shall be barred.  Any claim or action may be brought solely in the local or federal courts of the District of Columbia. Your access and use of the Website represents your irrevocable consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and your express waiver to any objection or defense to such venue.

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under this Agreement without a written agreement between you and AGS authorizing you to do so, and any assignment or transfer in violation of this provision shall be null and void.

AGS reserves the right to seek all remedies available at law and in equity for violations of this Agreement, including without limitation the right to block your access to the Website.
