Bret Scoville is the Deputy Director of Security at American Global Strategies, LLC.
As a 34 year veteran of the United States Secret Service (USSS), Bret brings extensive protective security, investigative, intelligence and counter-surveillance experience to American Global Strategies. Bret is a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Correctional Administration
In 1990, Bret began his career with the U.S. Secret Service in the Miami Field Office. He was then assigned to the Presidential Protective Detail under Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. As a Supervisory Special Agent in the Protective Intelligence Division, Bret supervised Special Agents, Intelligence Research Specialists and provided detailed briefings to the USSS Director and the Director’s staff. As a Supervisory Special Agent in the Criminal Investigative Division, he was detailed to the International Criminal Police Organization-U.S. National Central Bureau (INTERPOL-USNCB).
Over his career, Bret was assigned to the Counter Assault Team (CAT) and was selected to Assistant Team Leader and Team Leader. He participated in the security preparations and operations for the President, Vice President and other U.S. Dignitaries both domestic and abroad. He also led the protective details of numerous foreign heads of state, visiting the U.S., where he coordinated with ambassadors, foreign diplomats and foreign security officials.
Bret has a solid understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the security industry and public sector. With American Global Strategies, Bret will continue to work with corporate and diplomatic leaders on security matters, provide vulnerability assessments, crisis management, fraud prevention and corporate security.
