We are pleased to announce the addition of three outstanding professionals who have recently joined AGS: Fred Fischer and Marvin Park as Senior Vice Presidents, and Rob Pierce as Vice President.
Fred Fischer brings more than 25 years of global economic policy and international trade experience. He served 15 years in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR), including during the first Trump Administration, where he was a senior economic policy advisor and senior international trade negotiator. As Deputy Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for American Competitiveness and Enterprise, he was directly responsible for developing and implementing U.S.policies on trade, tariffs, market access, rules of origin, regulations, trade remedies, sanctions, and customs matters. Fred was a senior U.S. trade negotiator engaged in bilateral and multilateral negotiations around the world and was a lead U.S. negotiator for the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). Post-government, Fred served as a senior executive for global policy at a large trade association and was principal advisor at an international trade advisory firm helping companies navigate changing trade and tariff policies, and advising clients on investment, supply chain, and operational strategies to minimize geopolitical risks and maximize opportunities in trade and tariff negotiations.
Marvin Park brings more than 25 years of experience in U.S. national security, foreign policy, and defense. Most recently, he served as Director for Taiwan Affairs on the National Security Council, where he led cross-agency efforts to advance U.S. strategic interests in the Indo-Pacific. His prior service includes key roles at the Department of Defense, U.S. Navy, and overseas postings across Asia. Marvin’s expertise in Indo-Pacific security and military affairs significantly enhances our global strategy capabilities.
Rob Pierce joins us as Vice President following a distinguished career as a U.S. Navy Intelligence Officer. He deployed twice with a Navy SEAL Team and later served at the Defense Intelligence Agency and the U.S. Department of State. Rob’s background includes deep experience in intelligence, China policy, and strategic communications, including on Capitol Hill.
